Near and Far
Join me while viewing photos from travels near and far. I have a camera with me at all times to capture the essence of sites and objects explored.
Flowers from my gardens were my first subjects to photography. Then I drove through the Cornell Arboretum and decided to make cement abstracts from photos of the magnificent cement sculptures produced by Architectural students in 1963.
I have enjoyed traveling over the years to explore other cultures and architecture. My travel photos take you to NYC, Rome, Paris, and Egypt.
As a biologist, Zoos have drawn me to them to watch and photograph the elegant animals found there. Most zoos are now very supportive of their residents and it is rewarding to see them healthy and active.
Florida birds lure me into their habitats to catch them showing off their elegance.
Come visit Gallery Night on Friday, August 2, 2019.
